February 2, 2021 – Michelle Faraj, owner of Precision Furniture Installation outside of DC, shared with us how Forward’s willingness to work with their customers helped her business.
Why were you looking for capital?
We install office furniture for commercial and government offices. When we first got funding from Forward, we were a young company and needed equipment and tools. When we got a renewal, we used the funds to cover payroll since most of our customers have 30 days to pay us.
What was important to you in determining who you would partner with? Why did you pick Forward?
I looked at customer reviews and researched the company as a whole. Since Forward has a strong reputation, we knew that they were the people we wanted to do business with.
How did COVID-19 impact your business? How did Forward help?
When people started working remotely in the spring, people weren’t looking to buy new office furniture. It shut our business down for several months. Forward was flexible with us by reducing and pausing payments when we needed it. That flexibility meant everything to us. If we look for another round of funding, Forward will be at the top of the list. The entire process has been painless and easy.
What was it like working with Forward?
Everyone’s been great – responsive, understanding, and very nice. There were times that Forward would reach out to me asking if the payment plan still worked for our business, other times I would proactively reach out and they were always willing to help.
What do you love most about working with Forward?
Just the team. They are so willing to work with you. That’s been everything to us. They treat you as a person, not just a number.
